iTunes "Heavy Rotation" list for March 2005

Retro 80's is out. Retro 70's is in. Alt.rap is holding strong. This month's Top Ten:
  1. "Pressure Point" The Zutons
  2. "Opposite Day" Andrew Bird
  3. "The Rubberband Man" The Spinners
  4. "Only a Fool Would Say That" Steely Dan
  5. "New Sacred Cow" Kenna
  6. "Tainted" Slum Village
  7. "Picture Book" Tommy Womack
  8. "Celluloid Heroes" The Kinks
  9. "Spazz" Marley Marl
  10. "Stubborn Kind of Fellow" Marvin Gaye
The rock-oriented stuff is hanging on, even though I haven't really been listening to it lately. Predictin for next month's list is that it will be dominated by soul/R&B/funk, as that's the trend in listening habits.

About this list
A smart playlist in iTunes tracks the playcounts of the songs I've added to my collection in the last 100 days. The list gives a quick peek into the music that I've recently discovered (or rediscovered).

You're encouraged to make suggestions of new stuff, or to post your own "Heavy Rotation" lists in the comments area.
