Blog memes can't possibly be cool. Here's one anyway.

By way of Geeky Mom.

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.
5. Don’t search around and look for the “coolest” book you can find. Do what’s actually next to you.

The book near my foot was my childhood copy of Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH, which I recently salvaged from a pile slated for oblivion at my parent's house. "Oh no, you can't throw away Mrs. Frisby! It's Mrs. Frisby!" My darling wife concurs.

Now that I have sacrificed all masculine credentials, the line from the book is:
"But of course, we didn't know that when we arrived, and I doubt that any of us got much sleep that first night."

From Ready for Anything by David Allen:

"You must still engage your mind, your intelligence, and your vision to integrate those moving parts into the whole of how you interact with your world."

Got it?
